PEDRO CARENA / APPLIED AI & PRODUCT ENGINEERING

Technology applied
to real problems.

I help teams turn slow, manual workflows and early product ideas into reliable software. We start small to prove what works with real users before spending months building the wrong thing.

Blumo is where I document my work in AI, software, and product.

APPROACH

Thoughtful by design.

01

See how the work actually happens

Before writing code, I sit down with the people doing the job to map how decisions get made and where time or context is quietly slipping through the cracks.

02

Pick the right bottleneck

Not every problem needs AI, and not every manual step needs automating. Together we narrow down where software will genuinely save hours or prevent costly mistakes.

03

Ship a working version fast

Instead of spending months on specs, I build a lean first version sometimes an n8n workflow, sometimes a focused Python service and test it against real edge cases right away.

Hand over something your team can own

A system only succeeds if people can run it after I leave. I document how it works, train the team, and make sure daily operations don't depend on calling a developer.

THE PERSON BEHIND BLUMO

Hi, I'm Pedro Carena.

I'm an engineer based in Buenos Aires working across product engineering and applied AI. I started Blumo because I kept seeing a gap between flashy AI demos and the messy reality of daily operations. Whether I'm building an internal pipeline for a client or testing one of my own ventures, the goal is always the same: build software that earns its keep. Working through a tricky workflow or an early product idea? Let's talk.
